The Opioid Manager is designed to be a point-of-care tool which distils essential information and advice from the Canadian Guideline for Safe and Effective Use of Opioids for Chronic Non-Cancer Pain onto a one double-sided page. If it realizes its potential, it will be used routinely by health care providers who find it a practical tool to guide and track the initiation and monitoring of opioid therapy for chronic non-cancer pain patients.
